a). Here we have to find the mean, variance and standard deviation.

      The mean is given by

= 1.501

Hence, mean = 1.501.

  The variance is given by

= 0.5633 + 0.0748 + 0.057 + 0.3775 + 0.2123 + 0.2571

= 1.5420

Hence, = 1.5420.

The standard deviation is given by

      = 1.2418

Hence, the standard deviation is 1.2418.
