At what initial speed must the basketball player in Fig. 4-50 throw the ball, at angle \(\theta_{0}=55^{\circ}\) above the horizontal, to make the foul shot? The horizontal distances are \(d_{1}\) = 1.0 ft and \(d_{2}\) = 14 ft, and the heights are \(h_{1}\) = 7.0 ft and \(h_{12}\) = 10 ft.
