A solid is formed by rotating the region bounded by thecurve y = ex and the x-axis between x = 0 andx = 1, around the x-axis. It was shown in Example 1 onpage 422 that the volume of this solid is (1 e2)/2.Assuming the solid has constant density , find x and y.
