(b) Name these oxides. (c) Consider the metal oxides whose enthalpies of formation (in kJ mol-1) are listed here. Oxide K20(s) CaO(s) Ti02(s) -363.2 -635.1 -938.7 -1550.6 Calculate the enthalpy changes in the following general reaction for each case: M110.,(s) + H2(g) ----+ nM(s) + mH20(g) (You will need to write the balanced equation for each case, then compute !J.H'.) (d) Based on the data given, estimate a value of !l.HJ for Sc203 (s).
