If every carbon atom is connected to two hydrogens, then there are no terminal carbons, which would be attached to three hydrogen atoms. If each carbon requires two hydrogens, then there is only one hydrogen left which is bonded to the nitrogen atom. This indicates that all the five carbon atoms and the nitrogen are in one ring.
