Let I : V -+ V b~ the identity operator on an /1 - dimensional veclor space V and let S = (VI. V2.. . ""I and T = {WI. W2 ..... w" I be ordered bases for V. Show that the matrix of the identity operator with respect to S and T is the transition matrix from the S-basis to the Tbasis. (See Section 4.8.)
