Chapter 3, Problem 3/256

(choose chapter or problem)

A 0.1-kg meteor and a 1000-kg spacecraft have the indicated absolute velocities just before colliding. The meteor punches a hole entirely through the spacecraft. Instruments indicate that the velocity of the meteor relative to the spacecraft just after the collision is \(\mathbf{v}_{m / s^{\prime}}=-1880 \mathbf{i}-6898 \mathbf{j}\) m /s. Determine the direction  of the absolute velocity of the spacecraft after the collision.
