The two solid homogeneous right-circular cones, each of mass m, are fastened together at their vertices to form a rigid unit and are spinning about their axis of radial symmetry at the rate p = 200 rev / min. (a) Determine the ratio h /r for which the rotation axis will not precess. (b) Sketch the space and body cones for the case where h /r is less than the critical ratio. (c) Sketch the space and body cones when h = r and the precessional velocity is \(\dot{\psi}=18 \mathrm{rad} / \mathrm{s}\).
