In 1999 the average SAT mathematics score was 475, while in 2009 the average SAT mathematics score was 496. Assume the rate of increase is constant. (a) Find a linear equation that relates the average SAT mathematics score S at any time t, where t is the year. (b) If the trend continues, what will the average SAT mathematics score be in 2011?
