The voltmeter in the circuit of Figure P 4.3-6 measures a node voltage. The value of that node voltage depends on the value of the resistance R.

(a) Determine the value of the resistance R that will cause the voltage measured by the voltmeter to be 4 V.

(b) Determine the voltage measured by the voltmeter when \(R = 1.2 k\Omega = 1200\) \(\Omega\).
