Computer analysis of the noninverting summing amplifier shown in Figure P 6.10-5
Chapter 6, Problem P6.10-5(choose chapter or problem)
Computer analysis of the non inverting summing amplifier shown in Figure P 6.10-5 indicates that the node voltages are \(v_a = 2\) V, \(v_b = - 025\) V, \(v_c = - 5\) V, \(v_d = - 2.5\) V, and \(v_e = - 0.25\) V.
(a) Is this analysis correct?
(b) Does this analysis verify that the circuit is a non inverting summing amplifier? Justify your answers. Assume that the operational amplifier is ideal.
1st Hint: Verify that the resistor currents indicated by these node voltages satisfy KCL at nodes b and e.
2nd Hint: Compare to Figure 6.5-1e to see that \(R_a = 10\) k\(\Omega\) and \(R_b = 1\) k\(\Omega\). Determine \(K_1, K_2,\) and \(K_4\) from the resistance values. Verify that \(v_d = K_4(K_{1}v_{a} + K_{2}v_{c})\).
