In Exercises 6566, we revisit the data from Chapter 1 showing the average cost of tuition and fees at public and private four-year U.S. colleges.a. Use the numbers shown in the bar graph to find thetotal cost of tuition and fees at private colleges for afour-year period from the school year ending in 2007through the school year ending in 2010. b. The modelan = 1360n + 20,938 describes the cost of tuition and fees at private collegesin academic year n, where n = 1 corresponds to theschool year ending in 2007, n = 2 to the school yearending in 2008, and so on. Use this model and the formula for Sn, to find the total cost of tuition and fees atprivate colleges for a four-year period from the schoolyear ending in 2007 through the school year ending in2010. Does the model underestimate or overestimatethe actual sum that you obtained in part (a)? By howmuch?
