If the outer surface of the container has an emissivityof 0.8 and the thermal resistance between the surfaceand the device is 0.1 K/W, what are the temperaturesof the surface and the device? All surfaces of the con-tainer may be assumed to exchange radiation with theservice bay, and heat transfer through the containerrestraint may be neglected.
