The side-walls consist of a well-insulated refractory material,while the bottom consists of the steel plate, which hasan emissivity of 0.4. Assume diffuse, gray surfacebehavior for the heater and the plate, and considerconditions for which the plate is at 300 K. What arethe corresponding temperatures of the heater surfaceand the sidewalls?
