You will be tested over atomic and molecular structures, bonding, stoichiometry, equilibrium, redox reactions and electrochemistry, periodic table trends, and solutions. You will be provided with a periodic table, equations, and constants. You will not have to memorize these things (phew!). Things to review for the exam:  Quantum numbers. The principle quantum number n=1,2,3,… It is the energy level. The outer energy level of potassium has a quantum number of 4. The subshell l=0,1,2,...,n-1.
