Consider the vector space P 2 B = {x2, x, 1} and B' = {3x2, x - 1, 4} are bases for P 2

Chapter 5, Problem 25

(choose chapter or problem)

Consider the vector space P 2 B = {x2, x, 1} and B' = {3x2, x - 1, 4} are bases for P 2 Find the transition matrix from B to B '. Use this matrix to find the coordinate vectors of 3x2 + 4x + 8, 6x2 + 4, Sx + 12, and 3x2 + 4x + 4 relative to B '. [Hint: The transition matrix from B to B' is the inverse of that from B' to B.]
