The net heat exchange by radiation from plate 1with radius b to plate 2 with radius a

Chapter 4, Problem 20

(choose chapter or problem)

The net heat exchange by radiation from plate 1with radius b to plate 2 with radius a that are separatedby a distance c is given by:q = cmb2F1_2(Tf- T1)Where T1 and T2 are the absolute temperaturesof the plates, a = 5.669 x IQ-8 W/(m2-K4) is theStefan-Boltzmann constant, and F1_2 is a shapefactor which, for the arrangement in the figure, isgiven by:Fl-2 = [Z-Jz2-4.X2J'2]Where X= ale, Y = c/b, and Z = 1 + (1 + X2)J'2. Write a script file thatcalculates the heat exchange q. For input the program asks the user to entervalues for T1, T2, a, b, and c. For output the program prints a summary of thegeometry and temperatures and then print the value of q. Use the script to calculatethe results for T1 = 400 K, T2 = 600 K, a = 1 m, b = 2m, andc = 0.1 , 1, and 10m.
