(a) Write an objective function that models the cost of the blend of mid-grade unleaded gasoline (89- octane). (b) Determine the constraints for the objective function in part (a). (c) Sketch a graph of the region determined by the constraints from part (b). (d) Determine the blend of regular and premium unleaded gasoline that results in an optimal cost of mid-grade unleaded gasoline. (e) What is the optimal cost? (f ) Is the cost lower than the national average of $1.96 per gallon for mid-grade unleaded gasoline?
