A working knowledge of the relationship between the pole locations of the second-order system shown in Figure CP5.3 and the transient response is important in control design. With that in mind, consider the following four cases: 1. (on = 2, = 0, 2. a,, = 2, I = 0.1, 3. ns + a>;, Y(s) FIGURE CP5.3 A simple second-order system. Using the impulse and subplot functions, create a plot containing four subplots, with each subplot depicting the impulse response of one of the four cases listed. Compare the plot with Figure 5.17 in Section 5.5, and discuss the results.
