A 6-in.-diameter piston is located within a cylinder that isconnected to a 12-in.-diameter inclined-tube manometer as shownin Fig. P2.74. The fluid in the cylinder and the manometer is oil(specific weight = 59 lbft3). When a weight, , is placed on thetop of the cylinder, the fluid level in the manometer tube rises frompoint (1) to (2). How heavy is the weight? Assume that the changein position of the piston is negligible.
