The Midpoint rule for approximating /(x) dx gives the value 12, the Composite Midpoint
Chapter 4, Problem 10(choose chapter or problem)
The Midpoint rule for approximating /(x) dx gives the value 12, the Composite Midpoint rule with n 2 gives 5, and the Composite Simpson's rule gives 6. Use the fact that /(I) = /(I) and /(0.5) = /(0.5) - 1 to determine /(-I), /(-0.5), /(0), /(0.5), and /(I).
