HE IS THE BEST MATH PROFESSOR I'VE EVER HAD. Not awesome, but not bad, either. Uses lots of examples, explains concepts, makes an effort to clear up confusion, actually cares and asks if students are getting the concepts. Take lots of practice tests before his exams, ACTUALLY DO THE HOMEWORK, and show up to quiz section, and you should ace the class. ! Awesome guy and a great math teacher. His explanations are great and go hand in hand with homework. The funny thing is that I had Conroy's class, but I attanded Loveless's ecture to actually understand the material. Thanks to him I did better on the tests than I did with conroy. ABSOLUTELY suggest you take his class. ...Continue reading

Very nice and helpful professor. Enough said. During class he cracks jokes and keeps the class alive, as a math teacher he seemed very willing to help. He was an AWESOME teacher. Although I'm sad he doesn't teach Math 124, but come spring I'll be the first to sign up for his Math 125 class. He genuinely cares for his students, and explains concepts very well. I really dislike math and usually don't do well, but he's great at teaching. Do all your homework (including the optional ones you don't turn in), ask questions, and look over the review sheets he puts up! All that will become a good grade. ...Continue reading

He is one of the best math professors yet! Goes over lots of problems step by step and is very clear. Only problem is that his class has so many people so it can be hard to ask questions outside of class. But he still tries and is very approachable. A few students and myself wrote a letter for him to get professor of the year, and I hate writing...that's how good he is. ...Continue reading

Professor Loveless really cares about his students!! Midterms are fair and for the most part easy. For the most part i copied homework from friends, and still got a 3.5 in class. Just study plenty for the final. Use the previous exams for midterms and finals and with him you should get a good grade--He is one of the best/better math prof's out there. ...Continue reading

Best Professor I've had so far. Thorough in his notes, midterms are fairly easy, very easy to follow if you go to the lectures, or even if you skip every now and then. He is an amazing math teacher. But his lectures didn't always cover the things in the homework. So make sure you get help! I absolutely HATE math, but he made the class enjoyable and clear.
