Ms. Pagel's lecture for the Early Civilizations class were confusing and completely unhelpful. There were never very many clear notes and the slideshows were just pictures. The class was super easy as long as you didn't depend on the notes and read the textbook, because most of the points were from reading quizzes. ...Continue reading

There is no chance you will even slightly do well without doing all of the homework, and study guides. However, I have always sucked in math and she really made me feel like I had a chance through my own hard work of course. 953 hw problems. Lecture notes are the most organized out there trust me. She will call on u in class. Hard work is key ...Continue reading

Cheryl Ray is an awesome teacher. She genuinely wants to help her students succeed. Don't plan on skipping class unless you actually have a reason. She sometimes goes off on random rants and she might make you look like a fool in front of everyone But it was a fun class and I learned a lot. ...Continue reading

Cheryl Ray was a great instructor and I am a much better writer because of her. She is tough but only because she is pushing her students to become better. Class attendance is very important. The assignments are easy to understand and if you don't understand anything Prof. Ray will explain it (but only if you ask). ...Continue reading

I had her a few times for a substitute, comparing teachers lectures, she is awful. im to lazy to draw it on the board Her notes are being read from the book. Constantly just rambling, jumps around like crazy. Took Tracy for my second go around based on reviews here. Considering her for a third go around if I don't do well- me and math have NEVER been friends but her teaching style makes it a little more bearable . The only negative is that she takes homework the day of the test so if you don't understand it's too late to ask questions- USE THE LAB!! ...Continue reading

Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Not clear on information or concepts. Condescending and makes it difficult to ask questions. The homework does not prepare you for test, and does not really effect your grade if you do all of it (There is a lot). The lectures are long and not well put together. Do not take this class, you will regret it. ...Continue reading

Angela is super cool. I've taken all four of the classes she teaches and have received three A's and a B. She takes time to make sure you fully understand the material. She does what it takes to help students as well as she has a great deal of real life experience with everything she teaches. I would definitely take her again if I could. ...Continue reading

He is a brilliant but not a great teacher for this level. He is unable to teach to the people in his class. He should be teaching engineering math. Carol Jonas-Morrison is an awesome professor. Extremely helpful and very clear during lectures. In class quizzes every chapter, but you work in groups, so come to class. Do the homework and your bound to get good grades on tests and overall an easy A. Pay attention and just do your work! Overall, she was phenomenal. Best math teacher ever! Takes her time to make sure students understand. A lot of homework and quizzes but she's so great. Wish she taught higher math so I could take her for my next math classes.
