Professor Weidman is so adorable! Hes so dorky that you can't help but love him. He loves to draw pictures to help explain everything, he posts old tests for you to study as well as a study guide. Even gives you a practice quiz at the beginning of the year so you can see how they are. If you have an A before the final, you dont have to take it. definitely recommend. Every morning he wakes up the class with a variety of music and if you look closely, you may sometimes catch his feet dancing! Although he's a sweet man, his class tends to drag. Don't bother with the extra credit things - they're only worth 0.5 points each, usually. Quizzes are confusing STUDYING IS A MUST! ...Continue reading

Prof. Kapp is one of my favorite professors at the U of A. Her lectures are fun and interesting and all of the information is accurate and clear. No essays, however there are homework assignments every couple of weeks (Which can be done with the TA's and with others in the study room). There are clicker questions. If you go to class, you will pass. ...Continue reading

Professor Mullen is not a bad guy however, he is a horrible teacher. For a level 100 class, Mullen expects a ridiculous amount of effort from his students. The lectures are extremely difficult to follow, I was never sure what I should or shouldn't know, and the tests left my grade suffering. I would not suggest this class. ...Continue reading

Best Professor! Mr. Yool is very enthusiastic about his course and really tries to help his students understand the topics and earn a good grade. The writing assignments are easy and fun to do. There are attendance pop quizzes which you have to make sure to attend. The lab assignments need a little effort but help boost your grade. Go Mr. Yool! ...Continue reading

Awesome teacher, one of my favorite professors I've had so far. Gave opportunity for easy extra credit that really boosted my grade. Many attendance grades get dropped so perfect attendance is not required. Also, one test grade gets dropped as well as a few homework & writing grades. However, tests are really hard. ...Continue reading

This class was really easy and great gen ed to take. I would recommend attending every class because there is usually a class assignment due at the end of class. The tests are easy if you study the key concepts that are given to you by the professor. I did not use a book for this class, the professor even said there is no need for one. ...Continue reading

Great teacher easiest class ever. So easy! I missed a few assignments in the beginning because the instructions were not too clear, but the extra credit made up for it. One videopowerpoint assignment and research paper as well ...Continue reading

It was so easy. All you had to do was the homework every week and there was a research paper and a video assignment toward the end. It's not hard at all, just time consuming. Don't EVER read all of the readings he gives, just use the find function to find the key terms you need. I would take again because it's so easy ...Continue reading

So much extra credit, I practically slept through the semester and got an A. There's extra credit almost every week and you get points just for meeting him. ...Continue reading

Professr O tries to teach this genEd astronomy class as if it were a class for astro majors. The labs are pretty easy, but the tests are brutal. He drops one and has a grade curve of <83% is an A 73 a B and so on. Dont let that fool you its really hard! The class average on the final was 55% ...Continue reading

This was, by far, the worst class I have ever taken at the university. She is so awful and all her test are completely very specific short answers. Not to mention that her study guides are also awful and very broad... she even admitted to copying and pasting broad sections for the study guide. Super disrespectful to students and will make you hate environmental science ...Continue reading

DO NOT take this class whatever you do!! For a Tier 1 GenEd it is unreasonably hard (and boring) and the teacher is very disrespectful. Her tests are VERY SPECIFIC and borderline impossible unless you have a photographic memory (we are talking list 10 examples of everything specific). DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. ...Continue reading

She's awesome! Gives an incredible amount of extra credit. Her TA's are easy graders and also give great lectures. There are many assignments in this class, but if you turn in all the work on time, it would be very difficult for you not to receive an A. ...Continue reading

DONT TAKE THIS CLASS. The tests are impossible. He doesn't give a study guide he just expects you to study all the slides. The TA's are mean and they patrol the class looking for people on their phones or computers. ...Continue reading
