CHEM 1210 Principles of Chemistry I PP is a Chemistry course at UVU. 3 elite notetakers have produced 2 study materials for this Chemistry course.
The first week of Chemistry 1210 was an overview of the course and syllabus and a review of basic chemistry skills that will help students succeed in the upcoming semester. Covered in Chapter 1 of Openstax and Chapter 1 in Pearson’s Mastering Chemistry. Thes skills include measurements and units, the reliability of measurements, significant figures, exact versus measured numbers identification, a
This week we discussed atomic theory, subatomic particles, isotopes, and elements in the periodic table.
This week we discussed ionic compounds, polyatomic compounds, how to name different formulas, and the rules associated with naming.
This is the Exam 1 study guide and covers all of what we have discussed in class and online on Mastering Chemistry.
For week 4 and 5 we dived into stoichiometry, yield, conversions, and many other topics. It is important to keep yourself up-to-date with all of the equations and processes because the exams will focus on them.
This week we went over more stoichiometry rules, ionic equations, oxidation reactions, and solubility. All of these subjects were building off of previous units dealing with periodic table information and writing formulas.
