Academic Tutor
We are looking for enthusiastic tutors to provide academic support to high school and college students in a range of subjects. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on students' educational journeys while gaining valuable experience and enhancing your resume.
What You’ll Do
- Be a Tutor and help your fellow college students succeed in the classes they are struggling with
- Conduct tutoring sessions in your area of expertise with high school to college level students.
- Prepare and review educational content before sessions.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and learning styles of students.
- Provide feedback and strategies that support student learning and confidence.
- Coordinate session times with students, accommodating both in-person and virtual formats.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a college or university.
- Strong understanding of academic subjects at high school and college levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus but not required.
