MSU feels like home. MSU is constantly finding new and innovative techniques to teach material far ahead of other universities. Interdisciplinary learning is big here and I love it, you get an incredibly in-depth and well rounded education unlike other top schools. ...Continue reading

I think attending MSU was the best decision I've ever made, I'm from a small town and was skeptical about the size at first but the neighborhoods, and classes in the same buildings as your major really helps make it seem smaller. The events on campus are rockin' and the diversity of classes is also a plus. Walking around campus from class to class is nothing to groan about when there's so many beautiful things to see. Go Green. Go White. ...Continue reading

This campus offers amazing experiences to all of its students. Only thing I didn't like about MSU was the fact they brought in a lot of foreign teachers that didnt have a clue, and when the class failed it was the students fault. Loved the big school atmosphere, sometimes your just a number but any big school is like that. If you aren't involved in clubs it isn't because a lack of options, there are over 630 registered clubs on campus. The food is a serious step up from common cafeteria food. MSU also cares more about its students than its alumni. ...Continue reading

Beautiful campus, tons of opportunities, tons of majors, great professors! I've made fast friends, professors are helpful, and there's always something to do. I continually nag my high school friends to apply here because I want to share Michigan State with everyone. Great food, great campus, great location, great social life, just an all around top notch university. ...Continue reading

MSU is an overall good school, but it wasn't my first choice. The faculty seems distant, especially with larger classes (which are the majority of them). There are so many people here, it's hard to make friends because people are so busy and scattered. Not a lot of vegan/vegetarian options. Sexual assault and harassment is a big problem here. They are disorganized, rough, and unimpressive -- materials, instructors, and level of organization. Otherwise, great university!! ...Continue reading

The university is underwhelming and neither it or East Lansing have much to offer in means of culture or liveliness. Interaction with professors is hard and the food sucks. Dr. Edwards loves the material he teaches, and he wants you to love it too. He made Calc 1 a breeze which is very hard to do. Don't waist your money on a book, its pointless. I never once used mine. All of the homework is online and fairly easy. He also has fun math stories to share along with math jokes along the way to keep your interest. The WebAssign homework is not very difficult, and exams are almost identical to the reviews. If you do the review problems, go to class regularly, and pay attention in class, you will definitely pass with flying colors. ...Continue reading
