Love it. Fogelman is the best by far. I live in an apartment right south of campus, and I love the location. It allows easy access to anything you need. Plenty of stores, bars, rec areas, and midtown in general is great. I hope this helps someone! ...Continue reading

I came to U of M because I love Memphis and as a Computer Science major, being close to FedEx World Headquarters seemed like a good plan. The professors actually care but you have to meet them halfway. ...Continue reading

I've enjoyed my time here at the University. I can't say the past 4 years was anything to complain about. My most favorite place on campus is the library. I don't know why but I always to well after I study in the library! Great vibes. If you are serious about learning and growing U of M is definitely the place to be. ...Continue reading

If you choose the right majors, you will be afforded many opportunities and benefits. I am proud to graduate from this school. This makes for lively days and more mellow evenings. There is a ton of free tutoring and homework too. The campus is attractive and the food (depending on where you eat) Is pretty good. ...Continue reading

It's your stereotypical for-profit school. The teachers are mediocre. The student body is very eclectic and diverse. The students are very immature. I mean its not a bad place ,but if i had to choose all over again i would have chose a different school. check my ratings and they are honest . ...Continue reading

The more you get involved at the University of Memphis, more doors open for you, the more friends you will make, the more networks you will build, and the more rewarding your college career will be. Don't get me wrong the classes are harder than I thought, but at the same time the teachers take the time to elaborate. You have lots of food & club choices. As well as opportunities to participate in campus activities. I literally love in the library so hey A lot of new student facilities are being built which I will miss out on, like the new student Recreation center and dorms and the city is transforming the adjoining neighborhood to be more conducive to a college students' social needs. Lots of new bars, and clubs opening on the Highland strip. ...Continue reading

The Fogelman College of Business has SO many opportunities for internships and jobs after graduation. It is beautiful this time of year. The library is filled with sources for great research. Lot of internships that are circled throughout the school of engineering especially. One thing that bugs me is that Memphis doesn't get the recognition that it deserves in schools like Business, Law, Music, and Engineering ...Continue reading

I am going to be honest and straightforward! The campus is surprising large and compact and is situated dead center in the city. There are lots of off campus housing options within walking distance. I appreciate the diversity of the student body as well. We just have a lot of construction going on all semester long. ...Continue reading

Hard especially if your major is engineering and you went to a crappy high school. They just don't have what I need anymore. The city can be draining, but like any city, there are good and bad parts. I have complaints about everything being closed on campus on the weekends though. Education is okay, but beware, credits don't transfer easily. ...Continue reading

The U of M has so many organizations on campus to choose from and is located in the city of Memphis which means so many job opportunities available. I will be living in a very nice apartment for the next year and could not be excited. The teachers are fine if you check this website first, and the food is great in and around the U of M. They are renovating and updating many things on campus to ensure student happiness. Also, it seems the athletics are on the rise! ...Continue reading
