    People are friendly and helpful to new students. Its outdoorsy but I wish it wasn't under construction during my experience. Don't overdo it with a ton of classes that aren't related to your major in one semester. Make sure you have a balance and start out with a small course load to gauge your limits.     WVC is a great school! There are some restorations projects under way to make it even more picturesque. It's in a good centralized location. After the first couple weeks of the semester the traffic getting into campus and parking isn't too bad. Although it's a little on the pricy side, the food on campus is good.     It is like any other community college. Each and every semester I have had issues with FA and I find the staff in that department rude and uncaring with one exception.     Really love West Valley as a whole! I love the atmosphere and the great teacher that provide a lot for their students (with some exceptions). Counselors here would be a little better, although there are a hand full of really good ones. Just make sure you always know what you are getting in to as this is college!     Gorgeous campus, I really enjoy being able to sit on benches located all over campus surrounded by trees and overlooking a little stream. The professors overall are above average a lot of them are very nice and willing to help you. The clubs do seem a little bit limited though. BUT OUR BREAKFAST BURRITO IS THE BOMB. Despite the crappy wifi, the campus is just beautiful. Most of the professors I've met have been super cool and willing to help.     Great campus! The new LEED buildings are state of the art. High quality education and teachers. Very pretty, and you get good exercise walking aroound the campus. Everyone is kind of keeps to themselves, but once you can break that barrier there are some really nice people there, AND they are 90+% are really focused on school.     Before I went to West Valley I was at San Jose City. This is definitely way better than SJ city and Evergreen. I love it here. I mean the campus itself it nature centered.     Great place to go to school parking can be pain but not to bad. Wide variety of teachers and students. The study rooms in the new Fox center are way better than the ones in the library, pro tip! Pretty good place to be overall! Some counselors suck so pick the right counselor ahead of time. Theres a river across campus , down the street is public library and the campus is nature oriented.     I came to a JC thinking, Ugh, this isn't real college. Great environment. Food is good, but expensive.     Graduating with an AA degree and transfer units The campus is tranquil and cool. What I couldn't stand about this school was the counselors. It seemed like they did everything to dodge helping people. I was disrespected bad when I came in with my god son, like they don't want teen moms to have an education plan. I got out without help tho! Too much time spent researching when you need to know how to use programs to do forms, file with court & keep time for billing.     I'm transferring soon, and i'm going to miss everything about this school. The campus is full of opportunities. The teachers are great, as long as you do the work and don't slack off.     Not very helpful, tells you to go to the writing center if you need help. If your in this class it means you did not test into 1A so you need help getting there. Lots of reading and writing.
