Ms. Haines is a great teacher!! Her class involves writing argument papers, but you learn so much more than that. No need for textbook, you read articles offline. I loved all of our class discussions about articles we read. Everything in the syllabus is accurate and can be your guideline for the semester. Overall, I enjoyed the class. ...Continue reading

Love Dr. Paquette's classes, I've taken three of his classes. If you do the reading it's an easy A. He doesn't want nonsense answers though, you need to know what your talking about but other than he grades and responds nicely and in a timely manner. Always very nice to me in his email responses. Definitely recommend! ...Continue reading

Professor Henry knows his subject. Lecture are animated and review the course material. You'll need a book but most of his test material comes from his power points. PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS, study, and you'll do just fine. Tests can be difficult if you don't study, but he has redemptions for his test to help get back points. Great teacher. ...Continue reading

He's monotone, he's boring, and he doesn't really care. He assigns the homework then reads it out loud next class, is pompous, has a terrible fashion sense, is aggresively liberal (I'm liberal as well but he was just too much), loves to get the class off track by debating controversial topics, cancels class without emailing. . Do not recommend! ...Continue reading

Horrible teacher! You do her job for her. You come in class she puts you in groups of 3 or 4 and you have to tell the class about the couple paragraphs she told you to read in 5 little minutes . She barely talks. Tests RARELY. Tests are open book but A LOT of questions for little time given. Class common sense. What you learn is what you already kn ...Continue reading

Take him if you're an English major! He really made me think differently about writing and analyzing. Definitely not for people who just want to get the English requirement out of the way, he respects his students' intelligence enough to challenge them.
