Lafayette has not been an amazing experience for me socially but academically and opportunity wise it is top-notch. It's growing though. Lately this school has made a lot of changes for to improve. This school still acts as a new school under development but that means that it will be a lot better in the near future. ...Continue reading

Lafayette is a great school. Majority of students are white upper class but Lafayette claims to be trying yo increase diversity with each class year. It is not perfect or without its negatives, but on a whole it's fantastic. ...Continue reading

Laf has a tight sense of community, amazing professors, career services that's dedicated to helping you succeed, and no shortage of study spaces or things to do. The city of Easton is kind of boring, but has some good restaurants. The library is way too small for the number of students on campus. There are always activities going on and things to do on the weekends. I'm very happy about my decision to come here All of the students are passionate, whether it be athletics, their major, social issues, etc. There's a place for everyone if you work hard enough to find it. Alumni are well connected- finding jobs grad school wont be hard if you do well. School spirit is high (esp. for Laf-Lehigh!). I can't imagine leaving. ...Continue reading

Great school, great opportunities, beautiful campus but it is definitely lacking in diversity. Academically challenging, great network with many connections, beautiful campus, lots of activities all year round. The one thing that is lacking is diversity. A majority of Lafayette's students are white and come from upper-middle to upper-class families. Many of them are living in a privileged bubble. ...Continue reading

If you're politically active and hate Greek life, this school isn't for you However, there is a lack in campus culture and fun that really shouldn't be missing from any college. Lafayette is one the most gorgeous schools in the country, and I fell in love as soon as I stepped foot on campus. The people, atmosphere, the buildings, staff, professors and other students are AMAZING. If you like friendly people, and enjoy getting involved in everything and anything, this is the place for you. The dorms are pretty good, in my opinion and there are so many activities and career opportunities offer The campus feels like home. Everyone is quite warm and friendly. Lafayette just gets better and better each year academically, attracting all types of learners, athletes, and scholars. There is a pretentious air here. That aside, I do like Lafayette. Lafayette is an incredible place, that has quickly become my home. Everything is on you. So if you don't get up and try to be a part of this community, then you won't be. But if you do? Well then you've struck gold. Lafayette is full of dynamic interesting people, all you have to do is try to meet them! Bright enthusiastic students interested in diverse subjects taught by outstanding professors who are extremely helpful. Many service learning opportunities. Close to New York and Philadelphia is a plus. Not a school for those who want to hide, but a terrific place for those interested in being part of a community. ...Continue reading

You'll either sorta love it or hate it. Very school spirited. However, if you're not out of the cookie cutter whiteprepmiddle- to upper- class mold, good luck fitting in. Not to say you won't find your own niche, but it's still difficult to feel welcomed. Very cliquey, very gossipy. Great engineering program. Lafayette is a great school! In terms of academics you'll struggle to find a bad class and the difficulty is (for the most part) warranted and is worth it in the long run. The only thing is the previous admin went on a crusade against partying and kicked many frats off campus. It's on the rebound though and is quickly improving. Every people are friendly and warm. Professors (especially Math and economics professors I've had so far) are terrific, always ready to give help and guidance. The location is a little bit isolated, but we still have tons of fun thing to do...I love Lafayette. GO LEOPARD!!!!!!!!!!! ...Continue reading
