the school is alright at first but becomes better as the time goes on... kinda Good luck trying to get answers in a timely manner from any of the departments. You have to go in person and demand answers multiple times before something gets done. You're screwed either way whether you live on or off campus, since the housing department doesn't help and parking sucks since they closed lots. Case in point: Wanted to be a production major but the ratio of critique/history classes vastly outweigh the production courses. Also, the major club of RTN is a bit of a joke and it shouldn't be student run. Hopefully the other majors are better. ...Continue reading

Food and internet are both terrible. The administration does not know how to deal with non-traditional students. As a result, my time and money have been wasted. They need to have their business practices investigated by an audit agency. Go to a real school like Rutgers - an actual school with student and course/degree diversity. Avoid at all costs. The dorms are all gross and hot also very small. There is also no school spirit here and it is pretty lame. ...Continue reading

I'm currently a freshman here and luckily transferring out to a different school for next fall. Take a number and wait your turn. Everything is about the mighty dollar. Even their parking tickets cost more than the ones Rutgers City Officials give you, so where is all that money going??? To buy up every community college out there. The only thing they are interested in is Monopolizing the education world. Choose wisely! Its location is awful because they want to expand but can't because it is surrounded by neighborhoods that can't be knocked down. Only has one common area that isn't enough for 12,000 plus students. The internet cannot be accessed in dorms. Social life is rare and greek life is pathetic. ...Continue reading

Teachers and staff are absolutely amazing! So many opportunities. Social life is great if you're not a hermit. Everyone is so friendly. So easy to get involved on campus. Rowan has so many activities on campus every day. Location is alright. If you step into certain parts off campus it can get a little sketchy but so safe onaround campus. Half of campus is beautiful. ...Continue reading

I have nothing more to say, why is this field required? It's a nice intimate campus and social life is amazing. Friends are easy to make. I made my best friend on day 1. It's a great place, just the food and internet could be better. ...Continue reading

Rowan is definitely growing and getting better each year but it's already a great underestimated school. The people are great. The staff is almost always helpful and are here because they want to teach. There is a club for almost anything, and if there isn't you can't start one and within a year you can be chartered by the student government. Also going through major expansions. It's great. ...Continue reading

best engineering at south jersey and there is a great amount of opportunity for solo work. Jazz program is one of the best in the north east! and 60 min lessons, pa schools get 30 min! ...Continue reading

this place sucks, everything about, they need more study places, to update the campus, their dorms are absolutely terrible , and don't even get me started on the internet Im from north jersey and i had never done a proper tour of this campus so please if you're every going to enroll at a university make sure you visit it inside and out! Don't make my mistake. I can see how other ppl might like it i guess. ...Continue reading

If you are a traditional student looking for a traditional college experience, then it's probably going to be better for you than it was for me. Excellent staff for the most part. Clean, modern campus. ...Continue reading

Just finished my Freshman year, and I guess I like it here. The people are really nice. The dorms are nice. The common areas, like hall lounges are disgusting. The food is so boring and always the same. The professors are fine. Not much to do off campus. Overall, the school is fine. Only lost 1 course, barely a semester behind and I saved thousands of dollars. ...Continue reading

School is booming, I respect what they are trying to do. But if you want to party go to rutgers over here there is not a party in sight. You need a car to go anywhere here it is not place to hangout overall if you are a studious person then go to rowan and pursue your degree but when you are here for 4 years get out of here! ...Continue reading

School is really growing. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. There is pretty much always something to do if you look. It's a small campus, but not too small. I recomend it to incoming freshmen all the time. COME HERE! Try not to live in Chestnut it's one of the nicer freshman dorms, but it's the farthest away from everything, which sucks when it's 17 degrees outside. ...Continue reading

Rowan isn't an Ivy League and its in the middle of a small city, that's true. The VA office is the most knowledgeable that I have been to and is willing to help the most compared to any other school. Same goes with advising, BURSAR, and seemingly every other area of the school. I am very glad I came here and recommend it to anyone. Made lots of friends & connections. The profs wer very helpful in setting me up for Grad school also. The administration sucks though especially the Dean of Liberal Arts & Sciences. If you want to take French or German he'll cancel all your classes. ...Continue reading

Rowan was uncomfortable as a freshman (crappy dorms) but as you start meeting people and getting involved on campus, Rowan becomes a wonderful experience. ...Continue reading

This school is pretty good A lot of new buildings and housing for students. Campus is very safe. Plenty of Parties. Overall, Love it here. Then I really warmed up to it and I can see that Rowan is A-okay after all. I would recommend Rowan to people that I know. It is very academic which I like but it also is pretty hip. Great events, good departments, and always improving and building. The food changes (which is good), + everyone has a place here. ...Continue reading

I hate Gourmet Dining. Super easy to get involved on campus with Greek lifeathleticsclubs. Good amount of social stuff going on. Most well known for Business, Engineering, and Education but Admin. doesn't care too much about other stuff. They're making major strides though, definitely a school to keep your eye on for the next few years. ...Continue reading

Gives fair grades and works hard to be there for you outside of class if you need her to be. Very compassionate and validating. Is extremely approachable. I have a much better content knowledge as well. Only four assignments total, but all reasonable and are not ridiculously challenging. Feedback is productive. Would take over and over again. ...Continue reading
