the school is alright at first but becomes better as the time goes on... kinda Good luck trying to get answers in a timely manner from any of the departments. You have to go in person and demand answers multiple times before something gets done. You're screwed either way whether you live on or off campus, since the housing department doesn't help and parking sucks since they closed lots. Case in point: Wanted to be a production major but the ratio of critique/history classes vastly outweigh the production courses. Also, the major club of RTN is a bit of a joke and it shouldn't be student run. Hopefully the other majors are better. ...Continue reading

The internet is so horrible and slow. Campus isn't too appealing architecture wise, but feels homey. Food is pretty good, although could be better. . it's really the meal plan options that suck. ...Continue reading

Food and internet are both terrible. The administration does not know how to deal with non-traditional students. As a result, my time and money have been wasted. They need to have their business practices investigated by an audit agency. Go to a real school like Rutgers - an actual school with student and course/degree diversity. Avoid at all costs. The dorms are all gross and hot also very small. There is also no school spirit here and it is pretty lame. ...Continue reading

I feel like I'm overpaying, but that's college for you. They should focus more on the students they do have rather than trying to cram more students in here. I came here because it was a small and successful school but now it's turning into another wannabe Rutgers which makes me sad. They also don't value all NCAA sports equally ...Continue reading

It's only good if you make it good. Not only that but you will disconnect constantly. They use a special program as well that man in the middles all of your data and is required to even get on the network. If you use a linux computer, Good luck! ...Continue reading

Eh. It will just cut out randomly for a while. Student Center Marketplace food could be a lot better but not terrible. Lots of opportunities, always something going on. Overall it's a 4/5 good school would reccommend. Frankly for the 25K a year price tag it's great. I put this review out to reflect the current conditions of the school. Lots of people dis the internet but that just really isn't the case anymore at least not over the past 3 years just like many things at Rowan that evolvedaily ...Continue reading

The public safety officers are extremely efficient, their response time is better than most officers in the field and they take everything seriously. Food is alright, the meal plans are ok but the food can get redundant. There are a few restaurants around though. Internet: you MUST install ClearPass AND RowanSecure with updated malware protection software before you arrive (put it on a USB). ...Continue reading

I'm currently a freshman here and luckily transferring out to a different school for next fall. Take a number and wait your turn. Everything is about the mighty dollar. Even their parking tickets cost more than the ones Rutgers City Officials give you, so where is all that money going??? To buy up every community college out there. The only thing they are interested in is Monopolizing the education world. Choose wisely! Its location is awful because they want to expand but can't because it is surrounded by neighborhoods that can't be knocked down. Only has one common area that isn't enough for 12,000 plus students. The internet cannot be accessed in dorms. Social life is rare and greek life is pathetic. ...Continue reading

Rowan has an excellent engineering program. People from New Jersy rule the school, but do not let this keep you away if you are not from New Jersey. I am 100% satisfied with my decision to come to Rowan. It is my home away from home. Coming as a transfer from a different HORRIBLE four-year university (to be unmentioned for the sake of the university) I wish I came here from the start. GO ROWAN :) ...Continue reading

Internet isn't great but it has its good moments. The atmosphere is very nice and if you do your research on teachers before taking classes then you are good to go! Everyone is much nicer than what I expected. The campus is expanding too quickly, as there isn't enough room for the expected rise in student population. Rowan needs more buildings and dorms, stat! ...Continue reading

I love it here. The food isn't great and the internet sucks but I consider those to be little things. The professors really seem to be dedicated to there jobs and I feel very confident in my education. The school is pretty reputable, and cheaper compared to most other schools. I'm happy with my choice. ...Continue reading

Going to be best one Most everyone is nice and the professors are so helpful. There are a ton of clubs to join. The food is pretty good (some days better than others). I love it here and I'm glad I'm here dorms could be nicer but apartments and townhouses are great. food is eh. parties are awesome. there are a million clubs on campus, theres something for everyone. its kind of in the middle of nowhere but there is enough around to have anything you need. campus isnt too big, and they always have stuff going on. teachers know your name. ...Continue reading

Great school if you live in NJ. You only have to be without a kitchen freshman year so if you can choke down the food until sophomore year you're good. I can't wait for next semester because my schedule allows for me to join more clubs. Greek life is on the uprising. ...Continue reading

food and internet are only downsides The clubs are great. Food depends on where you go. The campus is beautiful. The internet likes to do its own thing (bring an ethernet cable). There are a lot of opportunities here to make friends and because the campus is a half hour away from Philly, there are a lot of job opportunities available on and off campus. ...Continue reading
