I transferred to this school from a bigger college. they always have something going on. The only complaint I have is some of the staff seem very rude and unwilling to help. I was here for one semester then had to leave for personal reasons. Now that I'm back after a semester break I'm feeling confident as ever, and very happy to be back. Wonderful school!!! I just wish there was more funding for the arts and theatre department. But we have it lucky with textbook rental, I'd hate to have to buy more textbooks than the few that they don't have. ...Continue reading

I attended this school during high school taking dual enrollment courses. The best thing about Southeastern is the professors and advising staff. They really care about the students! If you want anything done administration-wise though, good luck! Some of the faculty, not professors, have been sort of rude and it is discouraging. our funds are cut and tuition is high, parking is always going to be a problem, hammonds a small town ...Continue reading

There are times when I feel like Southeastern wasn't the best choice for me but then I hear horror stories from other campuses and I feel lucky to be here. I will get my degree from the College of Business (Management). The campus is beautiful, easily accessible and the buildings are relatively new. The walk from my car to class is a short 5 minutes, sometimes shorter, sometimes longer but NOTHING compared to LSU's 30 minute hike. The teachers are GREAT here and the students are friendly! I'm very happy at SELU! ...Continue reading

Randy is not the best teacher, but he does enjoy his job and a lot of the things we did in class were repetitive (nude modeling), so after a while you did end up improving. There is no out of class projects, everything is done in class. He doesn't exactly push anyone to do something different unless you ask- It is a very laid back class. Easy A. ...Continue reading

do not take her if you are looking for an easy online class.... Her lecture notes are mainly whats on the test, but the tests are extremely vague. For example, she'll ask about some event in history and then have one word answers to chose from. Most of these events are more important than being reduced to one or two words, so it makes the tests sorta of pick and pray. no notes, ridiculous tests. nothing nice to say ...Continue reading

Dr. Schillage did not help. She graded essays hard, I did not get above a 76 on any essay even though I followed clear instruction and even got help from writing lab. Add on to the fact that she takes over a month and a half to grade ONE essay. ...Continue reading

Dr. McCarthy means well but she's so scatterbrained. And she can't get it together. We were like, 2 weeks behind the last few classes. He is GREAT at teaching/lecturing. Like most great teachers, you will have to work for your grade but will learn a lot. So go to class and pay attention. Tests are short answer but they provide a demonstration of achievement and understanding of the material.
