This is a party school. If you don't like to drink than you won't like Whitewater. The school itself is only decent if you're a business major. It's cheap, but it isn't the best, and I would definitely consider other options. It's in the middle of nowhere, there is no good food, and every student is a not good enough to make the D1 school athlete. ...Continue reading

Could be better and could be worse. It's in the middle of no where and nothing much to see. However, it is not about the place, it is about the people. The school, students, and faculties are the friendliest I have ever seen. The dining halls food is not very food and you will most likely get sick after eating there. But other than that Whitewater is a charming little place to live. ...Continue reading

Pretty nice school although a lot of people do go home on the weekends which leaves you with little to do up here than drink the whole day. Whitewater is by far the best college campus. This university sits in the heart of a farming community and had that great hometown feel during the summer! The locals are very welcoming as long as you're respectful to their town. Great bars and about an hour to either MKE or Madtown. Perfect for students who love the country. People flee from here on the weekends like it's the plague, so it can get pretty boring. While this campus is seemingly in the middle-of-nowhere, it really is it's own world! The sense of community is amazing, and there are so many overlapping departments, courses, clubs, and events on-campus and in town that it's hard not to get to know people. I spent 7 years here (undergrad + grad) and miss the experience every day. So awesome! They are best for many college degrees including education, business, and IT. And to those who negatively attack UW-Whitewater it's not the college's fault for sitting around and doing nothing. College is only what you make of it and there are many opportunities in Whitewat ...Continue reading

The campus is great don's be afraid to go out and have fun If you're not a business major don't go here, they don't spend money on anything but business and that's okay because that's what they are known for. the city is crappy and cops are always out, but it's very safe and a small town mannerisms ...Continue reading

Its A great place to be. Unfortunately, the problem isn't the students, it's the professors! I am a 40 year old Criminal Justice major who continues to be appalled by the comments, rudeness and utter disrespect of the professors. It embarrasses me to see so many students from different countries witness this! the food hear is barely edible but overall its the charm of the campus that keeps me here. ...Continue reading

Being a Business major UWW is a great place to be, but it is a suitcase town everyone goes back home on the weekends. Most doors in the dorm halls remain closed and people aren't that social even when they are here. Campus is only a 15 minute walk from one end to the other which is nice, but people are lazy so they will still drive their cars to class even if living on campus. ...Continue reading

Really a GREAT small campus. Great professors, clean and beautiful campus, updated buildings and technology, diverse and friendly student body. Ton of computer labs, free printing, textbooks included in tuition, lots of parking. FUN: comedy club, pool tables, bowling alley, movie theater, great restaurants, air hockey, big screen tv's w/game consoles. ...Continue reading

Forewarning, this is not a school for those who enjoy city life. I love it here so much! its a small town you just gotta get involved and you'll love it here! Art dept is fantastic, LGBT clubs are nice. It is just a good as what you make it. If you don't try or reach out to people, it will suck, but if you look, the resources and possibilities are endless. ...Continue reading
