AnastacioIt's what you make of it, small school in the middle of nowhere. But the town is very small. The school is becoming more diverse and is fun at times but also very challenging academically. Classes sizes are small and it is easy to meet new people. ...Continue reading

LinneaNot cultural diversity. The classes aren't too large (except for a few freshman courses), everyone is pretty friendly, and there is an incredible lack of school spirit. I was screwed over by the chemistry dept, so I DO NOT recommend any chemistry classes. There's a ridiculous amount of Korean exchange students. ...Continue reading

TyshawnAngelo is the perfect college for anxiety ridden students. However, that is completely false. If you're looking for somewhere to get a great education with a small town feeling & a personal connection with the professors then Angelo State is your school. It's not the most spirited school ever, but I love it! ...Continue reading

JaunitaDon't expect this school to be a blow off, the classes are actually pretty difficult. But it is also big enough for you to meet new people everyday. Also they are strong on academics and helping students out. Which is always great. I chose ASU over Tech! The tuition is affordable, and the staff is very helpful. I love it here! ...Continue reading

OlgaI like the place, I love the town, campus is beautiful, love the opportunities they give, I like all the clubs you can join, but I don't like that they kinda pry you to be social. There are limited classes for Accounting. The food is horrible plus the parking is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS. Most of my professors are actually knowledgable. The library is fairly decent size but you can hardly find an open computer, so half the time you have to bring your own laptop or rent one from the desk which is annoying. ...Continue reading

CliftonASU is focused on Academics. Feels like a big university walking around campus but the small classes make you feel like you are an actuall student and not a number. Most all professors are on your side. As a music lover I adore Angelo because our bars are a regular stop on the Texas Country circuit. EdnaWhen people think of ASU they assume it will be easy and a blow off school. There are no major issues and it's not too hard to find your place if you just try. The staff is always friendly the campus is small enough to always see someone you know, yet big enough to meet someone new everyday. However, that is not the case. RyleyAngelo State is great if you're looking for a smaller public school. The only flaw that I can think of is the university's questionable budget decisions. During budget cuts, it was up for debate whether to remove the honors program, but during that same time, a new rock climbing wall was built into the gym and a Bachelor's in Philosophy was added as a degree choice... Only down side it I lived in a small town that take me 4 hours to drive and that really make it hard to see family. GO RAMS! (Freshmen) ...Continue reading
