Nonstop construction. Its really hard to find somthing to do on the weekends so most people return home. Not that prestigious, but it's a serviceable education. Education and business programs are strong. Decent Honors program. The grounds themselves are basically a windy mudpit. Good college town...but the nearest city is Toledo. Make of that what you will. ...Continue reading

Well respected education program, um, I've heard the school referred to as BG(STD). :( The wind occasionally gusts at more than fifty miles an hour, not good if you are walking in rain. Good stuff: pretty campus, variety of food. Somewhat multicultural. Falcons! 4 shades of gray squirrels. For the most part, my college experience is going well. However, this is only my first semester, and I already am questioning some of their staff choices. And like all colleges, you're expected to take classes unrelated to your degree, just so the college can have a big paycheck. Collegestress. ...Continue reading

BGSU is by far one of the safest and cheapest campuses. I'm currently in the Arts village community, and I love it there! I have a lot of close friends, and I always have something to do. (may I add, I didn't spend my whole year drinking. If you look and surround yourself by the right people and places, you'll have fun without drinking) There are lots of organizations on campus too! ...Continue reading

Always is exciting!! The only negative thing I can say is that your adviser will not know exhaustively the pre-reqs/course offerings/requirements for your degree so it is ON YOU. don't let things slide and not be able to take a class because it's only offered fall/spring or every two years or something. Besides the wind and the food, there is nothing I would change about this school. ...Continue reading

BGSU is terrible. No good food, the rooms are terrible and there is an obvious lack of social events. There is nothing to do. ...Continue reading

Overall a small campus but you'll always be meeting someone new. I wouldn't change my decision for the world. GSW- a required class sucks, but it's only a semester long :) Choose BG and roll along you BG warriors! ...Continue reading

I might be at an advantage because I'm an education major and that major is BG's specialty, but I think BGSU is an amazing college. ...Continue reading

This campus is in the middle of bunch of farm lands but Toledo is not too far away. The campus is beautiful with lots of green spaces. The buildings are constantly being updated with modern classroom spaces. It is in the middle of nowhere but close to Toledo and Detroit. Yeah, it's cold but it's Northern Ohio. ...Continue reading

BGSU is a great place overall There is so much to do and so many great people to meet. This wasn't even on my radar as I graduated high school, but a lot of my friends convinced me to come and it was the greatest decision of my life. Party hard! ...Continue reading

I absolutely love Bowling Green State University. This is unfair to temporary faculty members who are often excellent but apparently stuck as temporary faculty for years and years on end, teaching more classes than tenure track and tenured professors.go figure! otherwise, great campus & pool!! ...Continue reading

Nothing really stands out to me The campus is very dull and depressing. The weather is usually bad, including wind that will literally blow you away, rain, and the dreaded winter. If you live on campus and have to buy the expensive meal plan, plan on working out! I question my decision to go to school here ...Continue reading

Do not come here if you are going into aviation! I live on campus and have to use a computer lab to do homework because the wifi is awful. The library is in a really inconvenient place so I never go. It's not very centrally located. Tons of student organizations tho. Wish they gave better guidance on courses tho. I transferred and they don't tell me what I still need. ...Continue reading

I love it here. Of course the other majors are good too but those are two of the most popular ones. I would encourage people to attend BG because the environment is great just like the people. ...Continue reading

Having always lived close enough to commute, I never really had an interest in living on campus, but BGSU is a great school for both of my majors (music and education). Small class sizes and pretty easy for the most part. The night life is amazing. Not only are there tons of bars (18 & up too) but you can always find bumpin house parties as well. Pretty prominent greek life too. A lot of ways to get involved on campus, sporting events are really fun and its a really safe area. 10/10 ...Continue reading

BGSU is perfect if you are looking for a big school that's not Ohio State or Michigan. Labs are complete jokes. They stick random grad students as lab TA's who might've never even taken the class. Microbio major and never was taught how to properly make a plate culture. . turns out the TA was a marine bio major and knew as much about micro as I did. ...Continue reading
