Wish I'd have gone somewhere else. You will have to figure it out on your own. I honestly feel like I am just a number to them. I wish I would have chosen a different school. The new food company is awful & makes you buy a new drink everytime from their coke freestyle machines that are usually out of order. Makes it very boring. Meal plan and housing are really expensive. Live off campus if you come here ...Continue reading

ETSU is full of different social groups like most campuses! Campus is not too big or too small, and most of all professors want to see their students succeed. Typical college city with plenty to do especially if you like to hike! I'm originally from here, but if East Tennessee is new to you, then you'll definitely love the view of the mountains! ...Continue reading

If you want any help from financial aid, you may as well not even ask. After 2 years I'm transferring. I can't say enough about the staff , but I hate the setting. this is Appalachia, do not expect southern hospitality. These people are coldunwelcoming. The food is gross. Etsu has degraded. ETSU needs to focus more on it's academics, improve parking, and renovate several buildings. One way streets on campus are poorly marked and it makes it hard to navigate. Administration is kinda sloppy. Not very accommodating to adult learners. Not happy about the new football field since most college teams cost more than they bring in. Be sure to document your attendance, work, everything because the professor's will make mistakes all the time, and the deans will always side with your professor. There are plenty of social activities, but little emphasis on academics. The quality of the education seems below standard.
