Howard has its ups and downs. For the price one pays to attend the University the food, Wi-Fi, classes offeredd, and conditions of building could be much better. But there is a strong legacy here unlike any other school and the location is great. ...Continue reading

Lives up to its name However everything is a fight at this school we have to fight for classes, housing, etc. But because of this it makes you a fighter throughout life and it gives you the skills to be successful. If you do right by Howard...Howard will do right by you. Yes, the wifi sucks and yes financial aid is disorganized BUT HU has built me as a person, inside and out and I feel like a lot of other schools can't do that. Plus, there's so many opportunities to take advantage of! Go here! ...Continue reading

Pros: Howard has an esteemed reputation (that it honestly doesn't meet anymore). The internet goes out at the worst times, and you find yourself arguing with the Administration building frequently. Requires you to run in circles. One can get a lot of networking opportunities, especially as an Engineering student. One problem I've noticed, is that there are few Math professors who can really teach most of them know their stuff really well, but cannot effectively pass across that knowledge. ...Continue reading

Great school wifi is trash tho It is truly amazing to be in an environment where your culture is uplifted and appreciated. Most of the teachers have genuine hearts and are there to support each student in more ways than one. I absolutely loved my Howard experience! Some of your experiences here at the mecca will be worst than others but if it's for you you will know it's all worth it. Do for yourself always. Never rely on anyone. It offers a Hub of great minds from Innovators, Activists, Scholars, Entrepreneurs, Dancers, Creative Geniuses, and generally a diverse group of individuals with world changing aspirations and goals. A truly exceptional university for truly exceptional students. Go HU!! ...Continue reading

I'm currently a rising junior at HU and I can honestly say Howard is one of the best decisions I've made in my life. Go to Howard's school of Business, it's easy and great for career advancement. The atmosphere socially is warm and nurturing, even if the facilities (internet, dorms) sometimes have issues. Howard University is a unique experience that can't be duplicated. The students are all cool and super open-minded. HOWEVER, the Administration needs to change - like NOW! The constant attitude is bothersome and their service needs a revamp, not only in look but in substance. The administrative organization is simply DISGUSTING!
