Some people love it others don't. From what I've seen, the overall level of student happiness is fairly low. It's a high-pressure environment: some people like that and others don't. However, JHU is not a match for me. ...Continue reading

Hopkins is the best (external) thing that has ever happened to me. I am a transfer student, and from the first day, I have made amazing friendships, have taken nothing but incredible classes, and have fallen in love with Baltimore and the Homewood campus. It does have the reputation of being competitive, but most of the students here aren't. It's the fact that most classes are graded on a curve and only a few students in the class will be able to get As that make it feel competitive. ...Continue reading

The worst university for social life and honestly not very good academically. The set up of extracurricular activity is extremely similar to High School in the sense that the clubs are small and are often times not taken seriously due to the course load of students. Night life at Hopkins is nothing special either. Pleanty of gross frats and houses. ...Continue reading

Great school filled with a lot of caring genuine people. Baltimore isn't the greatest place but the surrounding area is safe. The campus is beautiful, the food is great, there's always stuff to do, but there's definitely a ton of work. The internet is good but it disconnects and then immediately reconnects randomly, which is annoying. ...Continue reading

Campus is beautiful, the education is great, and the people are fun.
