Food sucks! if you live on campus you will have great legs because of the hills. There are so many more cons than there are pros. Please reconsider before coming here. I regret starting this school and it's hard to transfer out. There is nothing to do here and you have to have a car to get anywhere close to a place to have fun. But becareful because they will look for ways to kick you out. Watch out for the RA's. ...Continue reading

Easy to get into. The food sucks! The school will probably not be around for another 10 years because of very very poor financial decisions. It is so boring and there are certain people in the clubs and Residential life (students) who live double lives and aren't strong Christians ...Continue reading

I seriously love NGU. It is a very conservative school and you will have the Gospel presented to you at some point. Chapel is twice a week, and three times for athletes. If you are a girl wanting to be a pastors wife, then this is the place for you! Ignore bad comments about it, it's a great school. I really enjoyed the professors. The campus is located in the mountains so that was a bonus for me. The Christian values and ethics were refreshing. I would definitely recommend NGU. ...Continue reading

North Greenville University fits the bill of your typical small private christian university. Found the campus to be rather boring a lot of the time. Had mildew in the bathroom and a roach or 2. Enjoyed my semester there somewhat, but transferred. Expect to be taught a conservative southern baptist worldview. If you major in business or biology, do some research. Biology teachers are great, but school lacks some equipment. If interested, visit the school. It will help decide if it is for you. ...Continue reading

I love love love NGU!!! It has its flaws, but so do all colleges and places. I was very pleased with my education and the affordability of it. The classes were small so I really got to know my professors and I still go back and visit them. The campus is beautiful with peaceful mountain scenery, yet still accessible to nearby restaurants and shopping centers. ...Continue reading

The school is in the middle of nowhere. There have been(and still are) people, both students & professors, who I wouldn't trade for anything & who've made it worth my while, but I kind of hate NGU as both an institution & a physical place. Too small & isolated both culturally & geographically. I am learning so much. However, the social life SUCKS. I go home every weekend because it becomes a ghost town. Food is okay, library is bad. Everyone is really nice, but chapel 3 times a week is excessive. I thought my faith would grow here, but it's been the opposite because they make it about the rules. ...Continue reading

As a commuter, it is more difficult to participate in extracurricular activities and go to social events on campus. Other than that and the mediocre cafeteria food, I do not have any issues with NGU. For the most part, the professors are kind and actually care about you. Social events were too cheesy. Caf food was descent.
