HendersonLots of extracurricular events and student discounts but too expensive for the low quality of instruction (outdated teaching methods, expensive and uninteresting textbooks, very hands-on learning, etc). The food isn't meant for everyone, I - being allergic to certain foods, could only eat at 1-2 places all my college career. Some buildings are gross, while others are nice. We share the campus with gradeschool kids, so it can get weird and it feels like I take college courses at a highschool. Eh.... No one knows what is going on in the campus. This is making a lot of students leave the school. The retention rate here is less than 50% . The school is a pretty campus up front but when you get down to it there are HUGE problems within the undergrad and is not fix can be detrimental. ...Continue reading

LiaGood school, definitely needs more social events. The earliest food places open is 7:30 so if you have morning classes plan skipping a warm breakfast. They are trying to provide more options through the small grocery style store. The professors are willing to do anything you need to learn more or have research opportunities. ...Continue reading

JazmynGood school but not worth the money, unless you have scholarship. Since it's in Florida it's always hot but it's manageable. The food isn't bad, it's just the same thing over again every single day and they also close the food very early which is kinda annoying. The class size is small which makes it easier to focus and have a good connection with your professor. Overall its great! ...Continue reading

VirgilNSU should change their food options All my courses were taken online. Course offerings have the superficial appearance of being state-of-the-art but their practical value is predominantly poor. With a few exceptions, the teaching is poor quality and the students are VERY poorly prepared for graduate school. I dont see the difference that would make this school better than state schools. They dont allow you to work on your balance so you can move on to the next semester. Some of the teachers are not helpful. I still do like some things but with professors in the department I am in they have said that this college is crap and that your degree here is useless. If you are not bio business or law its tough.... You can fit all the clubs and greek life in a single hallway. Beautiful campus, HUGE library. Undergrad has not been around very long. It operates more like a huge company than a college. Great school for an education, but that's about it. Not very good if you are looking for more.
