Randolph-Macon is a beautiful campus with many students who are academically successful. It's such a great, small, and beautiful campus. Alumni are awesome and are always willing to help you with your career path. It's in a great location and not far at all from Richmond. Most of the professors are awesome and want to see you succeed. You have to work really hard though. Overall, it's awesome! While I don't party, there is always one going on if that's your thing. Ashland is about 25 minutes from Richmond, so if you need to get into a big city, you can. Definitely look into it if you want a small school where the professors and other students know you. ...Continue reading

So I'm a commuter so housing doesn't really apply to me neither does food too much, though it's super mediocre. Most of my professors were great. The common areas are terrible. The Campus Center is a room with a pool table, a couple TV's, and a ping pong table... but often times there are no balls. It also closes early, leaving you with nothing to do. Good school but often boring. ...Continue reading

school keeps accepting more students than they can house even though there is Guaranteed housing all four years. Limited food options on campus, dorms are generally nice. Hard school but great to graduate from. There are countless opportunities to get involved on campus. Some people absolutely love the location and some people hate it. The campus itself is beautiful. The biggest downfall is the strict student conduct policies. They're not as bad as some schools, but still annoying. ...Continue reading

R-MC is great if you want a small campus, want to see the same people every day, be involved in every extra curricular, and party in the same places every Friday night. The teachers are generally decent but the amount of policy is readicules. The quality of education is great but the work load i.e. paper writing is heavy compared to other schools. The location is great if you have a car. Food options are limited on and off campus. Housing is a nightmare When everything is said and done, though, it has thus far been quite an interesting expirience, and I have enjoyed both my classes and a lot of my time out of class. ...Continue reading

I never thought I'd go to a small school but there's no place I'd rather be. Biggest complaint is the food options, and sometimes the internet is a little glitchy. I absolutely love Randolph Macon! The faculty is often willing to help you if you are willing to put in the work. The school has gone through such a revamping of its campus grounds, it seems to have forgotten what originally drew students to the college in the first place--the opportunity for a fantastic education.
