The one year I spent at OSU was the most disappointing year. If you don't like to party, good luck making friends. Christian clubs and groups are sparse in attendance. Greek life is overrated for sure. Good food options on campus and all sporting events are really fun and well-attended. ...Continue reading

Good school overall. I really like it and most the city are students I made my decision to come to OSU pretty last minute and it was by far one of the best decisions I've ever made! Football focus. It is a university that values athletics above education. Tuition continues to climb higher but the value of education does not increase with it. Oklahoma State is wonderful. It is a big town with a small town feel. Everyone is so nice and the campus is super safe. The school gives you so many opportunities you can leave very well rounded. Go Pokes! The campus is amazing - big, tons of trees and big open grassy areas. There's always groups out on the library lawn in nice weather. Most of the students are nice and ridiculously helpful. Faculty are AMAZING. They truly care about the students, and are remarkably helpful. Go Pokes! America's Brightest Orange! ...Continue reading

Campus could use some work, parking is a disaster, no one knows how to drive, not enough reasonably priced options for eating, residential halls are lacking. It has the best environment for researching, because you can do nothing but research. The students are very diverse, from all over the world. The university itself is pretty good, loads of school spirit and family feel to it. For HRAD it is number three in the country, and quite a few other programs are really well known! OSU is a very outgoing and very informative about all events, clubs, & safety calls. The professors are all great but the atmosphere screams Football and Agriculture. Most of the entertainment is centered around going to the bars so if you're a drinker,GREAT otherwise you have to search for entertainment. The quality of the education and the majority of instructors are great, but the university is far from student-oriented and prefers to hike up tuition to pay for sports and remolding of the administrator offices. one word: homecoming That alone will make you believe you are attending the best university in Oklahoma I only have two complaints. 1) Parking is pretty rough for every type of vehicle, including bicycles. Loved professor Evans! She's sweet and caring, but really annoying. Her class is an easy A, but you gotta study. There are a few group projects but it's not too terrible. She's clear on rubrics and offers a ton of extra credit. Tests are super easy - just read the notes (which she also prints off for you). Easy class and nice professor! She is really here for her students. This class has a lot of reading. She offers up A LOT of extra credit, so I would advise you to look into that. Also, she is very strict about electronic devices, so PLEASE put them away in her class. ...Continue reading

Mr. Miller is a fantastic professor and deeply cares about his students and history. You won't pass if you don't and he gives points just for being there. He's funny and chill but also really teaches you. He paces all class long, but you get used to that. He's cool though because he teaches you history without forcing an opinion on you. He's a good teacher. He loves history & is good at pulling you into his lectures, almost hate leaving class. If you do take this class though- SHOW UP! He cares too much & works too hard for you to think you can just breeze through, plus he can't stand it. Awesome teacher, funny, interesting, & smart- you'll enjoy him. My favorite class so far. ...Continue reading

This Professor may be a good choice for a higher level history course but if you are taking this for a gen ed he's not worth it. pop quizzes randomly at beginning or end of class that can only be answered if you read the assigned 40 page chapter. Dr. Boles knows the material very well, but this is a survey class and he treats it like his students are history majors. He assigns a ton of readings, and even if you read, his graders are very arbitrary and continually give 80s with no feedback. The essays and tests are graded more based on English skills than historical content. Do not take him. ...Continue reading

He knows his stuff and can easily do the problems but only does basic examples from the textbook. He never actually taught, just gave examples of different things. Grades very harshly. He offered numerous extra credit opportunities and was willing to answer questions. ...Continue reading
