it's ok could be better but i really like the people. I went here as a Running Start student, but I never would've chosen this place. They dont use universal class numbering so most of your credits don't transfer, its how they keep you here. A lot of the advisors are hard to get a hold of. If you want something done you have to go straight to the deans. Also they to accommodate students who work full time jobs and want to learn online because it is easier, there are not enough classes. The Financial Aid people have screwed up both mine and my husbands awards (in multiple ways) every quarter for 2 yrs. Refunds get delayed A LOT. Monahan is very engaging and clearly enjoys his job. He cares about his students and strives to help them achieve the grade they deserve to receive. You can tell his passion is teaching Spanish from his willingness to reteach a lesson. A benefit from choosing him is that it's a textbook free class. He puts materials to help as needed on canvas. If you have a chance to take a Spanish class with him, be prepared to learn by doing... which is actually more helpful when learning a language. By far one of the best professors I have ever had! She loves chemistry so much that she makes you love being in class. If you pay attention in class and take good notes, you will be fine. Be sure to practice problems outside of class though or else you will not do too great on the test. She is very caring and understanding. ...Continue reading

I took Public Speaking with him and I absolutely loved it. He's very specific about what he wants, and normally follows the rubric he gives out. It's a very ppt heavy class, but for the most part, they're useful. He's a funny guy who genuinely cares about his students and does his best to make himself available outside of class. ...Continue reading

Was a VERY easy class. I made the mistake of taking in class thinking it would be fun. It is very non-interactive. Attendance isn't mandatory so you can just skip class and do the homework/tests online on Cengage. There is a discussion almost weekly that is about space, normally semi interesting. If you can take this class online, too many lectures ...Continue reading

The class started out very slow. Beware of seminars and tests. They seemed to alternate weeks. Very easy class most of the information was common knowledge. Tests normally include a few short answer questions which she gives you prior to the test. Textbook was hardly used. We did one project from the book and the rest was mostly lecture. ...Continue reading

Participation goes a long way toward securing a high grade. Fun class. Challenging in the right ways. Definitely recommend. ...Continue reading

John is a great teacher! The class isn't hard, as long as you do the required reading and don't get behind. Instead of having one cumulative final, he breaks it up into four(ish) tests. He gives a lecture before the test to 'recap' everything that might be on it, and as long as you take good notes and study what he talks about, you'll do well. ...Continue reading

She's easily one of the best professors I have ever had.
