    Really great school. Its huge on Greek life though, which can be a downside for some people. Most of the students are really friendly and down to earth! Football school, just needs to be better at being a basketball school too. A lot of places to eat. The Couch Restaurant is great about 12-14 different restaurants in it. Alumni are very supportive.     OU is an awesome place to go to college. The winter can still be cold sometimes, but every once in a while it gets to be 60 or 70 F outside in January or February, and those days are GREAT. You'll see people on the south oval playing football or frisbee, lots of people walking their dogs, studying outside, you name it. Upper divisions only have one section most of the time and they fill up fast, even before your registration date. So ALWAYS have a plan B, C & D. ...Continue reading

    The dorms are absolutely terrible and extremely overpriced. Also, if you're parents are not paying for your tuition: don't ask for sympathy from the Bursar. Also, If you have an issue with a professor: don't expect support from the dean. The teacher's syllabus rules over all. And bureaucracy and tenor rule over that. ...Continue reading

    The climate is great! The social life on campus is awesome. There are dozens of clubs and organizations, and if there isn't one that suits you, it's really easy to start one.     Never before going here have I been surrounded by so many encouraging, kind people who support each other so much. The wifi kinda sucks, so bring a hotspot. Beautiful campus. The campus is beautiful and the people are friendly, not to mention the squirrels!     Great place, small place There is only a few professors that I found were helpful. The professors I have encountered don't seem to care about students at all. I have had family members die and was not excused from class for funerals or to be at the bedside. Don't even think about trying to find a parking place. ...Continue reading

    Beautiful campus, just big enough. So far the only thing that has disappointed me was the lack of parking, especially on game days (non-students take students' parking spots). Other than that, get a bike and try to get an apartment on a bus route or close to campus, and you should be fine! Not too big, not to cramped. Blazing fast internet, goes out occasionally. Food like no other university that I know of, so many options. Mostly great professors and really kind people. Really good dorms too, thank god for suite-style living.     I really enjoy it here, very large campus. So many great opportunities, a thousand and one clubs so there are many ways to get involved and meet a ton of new people.     OU is the best choice i've ever made. This is my first year here, and I have to say that this place is just right for me! I enjoy my classes!     I love this school for the friendly and supportive atmosphere, although the math professors are a gamble, being either very helpful or not at all, but that can be on any university. If you are in biological sciences get involved in research opportunities as an undergrad. Don't take Gateway to college learning! Do only use meal points: Do Not get meal exchanges.     Average. But the goodness stops there. They do not promote a healthy education. Not many facultystaff are concerned with helping to enrich education. Instead, it's an overblown high school. From the deteriorating inside look to the attitudes of 75 - 80% of facultystaffstudents. If you're not in a fraternity/sorority, are a true extrovert, or have friends established on campus it will could be boring. There is little to do on campus and even less off. Classes are a spectrum, definitely a huge range of difficulty, pre-req courses are a mixed bag. Some classes that would assumably be easier aren't always that way. ...Continue reading
