A great place to start. The west campus is by far the best and most challenging campus for higher math, sciences, and ASL. I haven't gone to any campus besides the west and east, but from what I hear from other students, it seems like each campus is completely different. If you are interested in a program, MAKE SURE you are directed to the right campus & advisor who knows about that program! One made me take classes I didn't need even after she examined my transcript, jeopardized my status/finaid when I dropped those classes. She should have directed me to the correct advisor/campus. ...Continue reading

The campus's are all unique in design and layout. Not bad for a community college. It's really the only other option besides U of A, so you can't complain. Most students are just here until they transfer. The cafeteria really need better options, prices for the sandwiches are pretty ridiculous too. ...Continue reading

Stunning campuses. but overall its a great school, I love their interpreting agency, always have good interpreters. great teacher choices as well! have multiple locations which is nice! I just took a physics class where 13 of the students were from the UofA. Struggling students from the U take classes here because of a better studentteacher ratio. More one-on-one time winstructors (who all had REAL jobs in their field and are not lifelong prof.) and a variety of resources make PCC a sweet (and affordable) deal! ...Continue reading

Beautiful campuses, best community college in Arizona an excellent school to provide a bridge into a 4 year university. There are many clubs at the west and you get the best of experience over all. I have had some amazing art teachers and other teachers for my degree. There are some people who really want to help you but u need to ask and take advantage of the resources Pima provides. Nothing is handed to you, you need to apply yourself, and be eager to learn and study for yourself. ...Continue reading

I went to the west campus, and my was this a crazy year. Some of the rooms in this campus are big and beautiful. Some have been untouched for 20 years. The food's ok, wifi's pretty good, lots of people. If you're fat, like me, don't expect to comfortably fit into any of the desks, ouchie. I recommend west to anyone who has the opportunity! Great teachers, decent social setting, but just a very nice place. ...Continue reading

The adjunct facility is amazing but full time employees including advising staff make students feel alienated. Pima has few good teachers but most of them don't care. But simply stated, the faculty is apathetic, lazy, and incompetent. There are a few diamonds in the rough, though. The advisors have no clue what the campus policies are half the time when something bad happens as a result, they're not willing to make it better. The customer service here is flat out unacceptable. ...Continue reading

It's what you make of it and how you apply it for yourself. It has the potential to benefit transfer students, as well as, aiding in finding a better job. They offer online classes, as well as honors programs, and 8-week courses too. I've always been bad in math, so I was worried for College, but taking this professors class helped me a lot. I've taken him multiple times and each time I finished the class with a high grade. I love his teaching styles and he always has some story that relates to the lesson. Wonderful teacher. I was nervous coming to college after almost 20 years. Mr. McCourtney was the first college teacher I had. He is really funny, and he tells stories to teach us math. His stories help me remember how to do the problems. He really seems to love what he is teacher. I am learning so much. ...Continue reading

The class wasn't what I thought it would be. He would only give us work to do and explain how to do it and barely any lectures. Gets boring in the end. Very nice and funny guy though. Would've worked best as an online class. ...Continue reading

Best way to pass class is if you study a lot on your own or form a study group. Online quizzes every week & best way to pass is by doing it in a group & taking turns. Stuff learned is not on exams 60% of the time. She does care. You work for your grade. Dont miss class. If you procrastinate or are lazy dont take her. Might be hard at 1st. ...Continue reading

I took this teacher after seeing bad reviews thinking they'd be wrong but nope they are right. Would not recommend this teacher unless you are willing to do everything on your own. Her grades are based on pop quizzes and tests only. Her teaching method is having you read on your own and teach yourself and give you answers to homework w/o explaining ...Continue reading

I HATE math and even get math anxiety sometimes but her class was very easy. I took the 8-week course in which she covered many sections in one day but she always made sure no one was left with questions. Most of the class is weighed on attendance and homework so if you fail 2 of the test but do all the homework it is still possible to get and A. ...Continue reading

Mackie was so funny in his lectures. So clear on what he expects from his students throughout the semester. Like mostly any other class it starts off rather easy but gets harder towards the end. He post's every single handout on MyPima and his lessons are very intresting. He gives quiz's every week. ...Continue reading

Recommend her to anyone serious about school. ...Continue reading

Took a Saturday class, small group. He's relaxed, accessible an hour before class and and hour after class. Really preps you for his exams, no suprises. You can tell he cares about his students. ...Continue reading

This was a great course but did not prepare me for BIO201. Whenever my current professor talks about things we should've learned in 156, I'm always so lost. He claims to have everything you need to succeed, but refuses to help you if are confused about something. WebCT online homework is unnecessary and not helpful. It's a lot of work to get an A. ...Continue reading

This was probably my easiest, yet most frustrating class because of my uninterest in Psych. There were 3 big tests, no final, and 3 writing assignments, so it was hard to get a good grade if you bombed even just one test. He's not very exact about what will be on the test, but also very lenient. If you put in the effort the class is an easy A. ...Continue reading

Ok so pretty awesome teacher she is so cute & funny. Pima wouldn't allow her to do extra credit so your grade is based off of the quizzes she gives at the end of every class, homework (which is online), & tests. So it is important to study! Plus for tests she allows a index card. Homework is online because the textbook is an access code. ...Continue reading

Has yet to respond to an email sent. Easy class, but prof taught incorrect info a lot, didn't know how to pronounce half of what she was teaching.
