Not worth the money. Feels like high school sometimes (I guess this depends on your major though). There's barely any opportunities for students to meets others because the university lacks activities. Not a lot of school pride from what I see. People go to class and then go home (off-campus, east bay commuter, dorms). ...Continue reading

Life at USF is what you make of it. Food is ok, but falls short when compared to SFSU's selection. Despite the diversity, it's very cliquey. Parking is poor & is even worse when the elders visit Fromm. But in the end, its what you make of your experience there ...Continue reading

Great school for nursing I love being here everyday. A great education as well as a lot of fun!!! However, most of the students are more concerned with continuing on with high school traditions and rituals than they are with studying, and personal refinement. If you want a great school. This is one of them. If you want to be around students who appreciate and take full advantage of a higher learning... Bu-bye. ...Continue reading

Definitely not for those in search of a high social climate, but classes can be challenging and rewarding. Definitely not for everyone but if you are a social, affluent(or okay with debt haha), fashionable, tasteful, and politically conscious individual then you will fit right in. USF is a weird place, not a typical college/university and some might find it challenging to discover where they belong. It's only flaw is that there is a lot of bias between departments that you need to just ignore and try to plan out your years at the beginning. ...Continue reading

It's a good school, good professors and faculty, and being in the middle of SF has its perks. Campus is tiny, but well maintained & pretty. Social scene sucks unless you find a clique right away or join 1 of 3 social fraternities. The food is so-so: good quality, but only one real dining hall, so it gets pretty old. Can use dining $ on other stuff though. Some amazing teachers, and KUSF rocks! Dorms are funky. ...Continue reading

This is the worst school ever, don't come here unless this school was your first choice. Be very selective of the professors you take (most are terrible) and plan your 4 years out wisely. They screw students over with graduating in 4 years, and with increasing the tuition EVERY year. Make this your last resort school. great school with bad food Put in a very nice part of the city, USF is right by Golden Gate Park and Haight Street - both very popular places to go. There is no greek life really, but that doesn't mean there arent plenty of house parties. Beautiful campus and church surrounded by nice houses. It's about the same quality as any college dining hall, better if that. I was at UCLA for a year before USF, and UCLA is ranked #1 in food. I'd say USF is up there with UCLA.
