LuluUW is a pretty good school especially for the price you pay. It's small enough to actually be able to meet with teachers and work with admin, but big enough that there is plenty to see and do. AnitaDr. King was a good professor, he always answered questions and tried to help every student who wanted outside help. He also has a great dry sense of humor. ThelmaHe was horrid. He makes you work like his class was your only class of the semester. H e doesn't give you good notes in class. You have a lab quiz every week + lab reports and quiz during lecture. He is so mean. Unless NECESSARY don't take his class. if you do, get ready to spend all your time studying for that class He knows his class is demanding and tough, but has no sympathy. Be prepared to dedicate 70% of your time to just this class. I recommend to not take too many credits or difficult courses with this. Everything feels like busy work and you will barely have time to manage other courses. ...Continue reading

JewelAnne was one of my favorite professors this last semester. Her class is lecture heavy but interesting and I would recommend going to class because she gives pop quizzes which are more like show up and get the credit activities. She really loves teaching this subject so she's always in a good mood during lectures. Overall, a good instructor. She will keep you laughing and if you keep up on notes (go to class) and do the homework, the tests should be a breeze. Good class overall. ...Continue reading

ChanelleLoved the class and he was great. He can be serious when he needs to be, but most of the time he's funny and very easy to talk to. When I was sick I was able to access his lectures online through WyoCast. It doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes too. He is funny and extremely intelligent and helpful. He is always willing to answer any questions and get to know his students. A++ ...Continue reading

HillaryDr. Burant is amazing. Picked out good teachers for us to observe. She told stories of her time teaching High School science and did well relating it to what we should expect we go out in the world. Interesting readings and even skits we got to create. She even helped me review my final project before turning in! A+ She is extremely fun and cares about her students. She relates everything she talks about to her classroom experience and is extremely honest about what to expect. She grades fairly and will work with you as long as you are honest with her. She is helpful and extremely good about emailing you back when you need her. ...Continue reading

EmmyIf you really want to earn take his class. The above students clearly did not put in the right amount of work and are complaining to cover their bases but I learned the most in Dr. Jain's class. He is very professional and knowledgeable and if you are ready to learn, take his class. Else, don't bother. ...Continue reading

AnitaDr. King was a good professor, he always answered questions and tried to help every student who wanted outside help. He also has a great dry sense of humor. I really enjoyed POLS 1000, even if it is a packed USP. His lectures are relatively interesting if you care about government at all. ...Continue reading

CieloThe most incompetent professor I have ever met. Disorganized, often late and unprepared, inconsistent, and at times rude. If literally anyone else taught Theatre Ed courses I would have dropped the class in a heartbeat but sadly Cece has a monopoly on the subject. Best thing you can do is find your happy place while she talks. ...Continue reading

ArchI took Biology for non-science majors. Mark made the class very easy to pass, as long as you show up and do the work. He has very useful reviews before the tests and if you attend these the tests are a breeze! He is so funny and such a goof, it kept the lectures interesting. Be prepared to sit and work in groups. ...Continue reading

EstaIn my experience, Yelena gets a bad wrap for being a no-nonsense, straight-to-the-point instructor. Yes, the class is hard. But c'mon people, it's electrical engineering. I enjoyed her class, and I learned a great deal. I also had to study everyday in order to pass. The textbook listed by the department was not strictly required. ...Continue reading

RashawnDr. Walker really tries to help you succeed. She holds extra 2 hour sessions twice a week in case you're having a problem & she'll help you through it. This class is a VERY heavy load, and isn't easy but she does her best to make a dry subject interesting & really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She's an absolute sweetheart. ...Continue reading

TimmothyImpossible teacher. Coursework is unclear with what is expected. Labs have exceptionally vauge instructions. Syllabus was poorly laid out and unspecific. LibbieDr. Helfgott is one of my favorite professors at UW. She welcomes feedback and dialogue during lectures, which are optional but very important. KristofferThe course we are taking is not required for many students. It is a writing class to assist doctoral students complete a draft of their prospectus. CarrieBoman is a great, funny guy. I highly recommend this professor. He's inspirational and lectures are so interesting. I will take him again. The textbook is not required, so going to class is pretty mandatory. He does not BS with you about what is on the exam. Everything you write down is from a powerpoint presentation and will be on the exam. Just study the material, and the class is easy. All information is pretty clear cut. ...Continue reading

ReedTommy does a great job of explaining what can be very tough material for some people in a simple way. Accounting is not a very exciting subject but Tommy manages to make the lectures bearable with his good sense of humor.
