I have grown to LOVE my school. Sure we dont have the best food, or campus and its not much around to do but if you get involved in orgs and clubs you meet people and do things that you didnt know about before and it makes state really enjoyable. ...Continue reading

VSU have the worst faculty ever . I wouldn't recommend this VSU to a puppy. Professors are NASTY (attitude) & OLD. It needs an entire makeover from the faculty to the campus grounds. The music department use to have a good rep but now it just sucks! Musicians beware! Save yourself! ...Continue reading

If I could time travel to the day I decided to come here, I would go back to slap myself in the face. dont come here Very few people actually take classes seriously. Very few departments are actually good. Little diversity. People are not that easily to get along with. Not highly recommended. ...Continue reading

Disappointing to say the least. I have to say it was the worst experience I had. Students are more concerned with the latest fashion and technology than actual academics. I rarely had homework, and don't feel like I actually learned anything. With taking all major classes. Social life sucks. Should have stayed home. The atmosphere is so depressing and the control of the professors over the students is little to none. ...Continue reading

VSU, like any other institution, is what you make of it (in regards to extra-curricular activity involvement and maintaining an active social life). There are a select few professors that genuinely care and respect their students. Most courses don't challenge you academically and there's a lack of professional help through all departments. There are some things that need to be improved but it is what you make it. ...Continue reading

School is in a poor location, need a car to go anywhere. This school is horrible. They are unorganized, show no interest in helping and supporting students. Oh, and it takes forever to meet with someone for counseling about classes and financial assistance.
