I really enjoyed Texas Tech. The teachers can be very helpful as long as you ask for help. The campus is basically a 'Tech Bubble' within Lubbock most of the time I forget that I am even in Lubbock. Tech has a great atmosphere and the campus is amazing. ...Continue reading

Texas Tech is a great school, but the professors in the ece department are pitiful. Campus organizations are either Greek or religious-based. The community is rather blasé when it comes to nightlife. The best you can really expect is to catch a movie or hang out at a bar. Was disappointed in the lack of outdoorsy activities available. ...Continue reading

If you're from a big city, Lubbock might seem a bit boring at first, but it's filled with some of the nicest people you've ever met, really only as boring as the people you're with. Lots of great concerts. One of the top research institutes in the country - lots of undergrad research opportunities available. Beautiful campus. ...Continue reading

Texas Tech is a growing, shall I say 'booming' institution that was recently ranked Tier One Carnegie Classification, which places the University as a whole among the top 82 universities in the United States. After my first year, I feel in love with it. The architecture is beautiful and many of my professors were amazing! The food is pretty good, better than most campuses I visited. My freshman year at Tech has been great! Nicest people you will meet, always something going on, the weather was perfect about 85% of the time but random cold fronts and dust storms tend to roll in. Theres a lot of diversity here and somthing for everyone. All of the professors are easy going and very willing to help. The social scene is absolutely awesome and provides something for everyone.
